Lecturers

Currently the DSS team consists of two professors from Kiel university (Ulrich Heute and Gerhard Schmidt) as well as one external lecturer (Klaus Linhard).

Administrative Team Members

Kathrin Büsse is our secretary and Kevin Preen manages our IT infrastructure. In addition, Franziska Gruler helps in organizing conferences (DAGA 2017).

Currently we have about 15 internal and external PhD students as well as four company founders (via the Exist program).

New PhDs in the DSS Team

Since January this year we have two new PhD students in the team: Elke Warmerdam and Finn Spitz.

Elke is from Amsterdam and she works in the neurology department in the university hospital in the group of Prof. Maetzler. Her research topic is movement analysis of patients with neurologic disorders. Elke cooperates with us in signal processing related aspects of her research. Elke plays ...
