Congratulations to Wiebke and Marco to their first baby. We don't want to share too much information about size and weight of young Jonte, since it has something of this card game "Quartett" that we played in our youth. Anyhow, we were pretty impressed by both numbers!

One sentence about the title of this article: it's hard to see in the picture, but we ordered rompers for Jonte with the letters "> HELLO WORLD." on it. We are engineers, sorry.

Marco and Wiebke, enjoy now the time with little Jonte - we wish all three of you all the best.

Our SONAR Simulator Supports Underwater Speech Communication Now

Due to the work of Owe Wisch and Alexej Namenas (and of the rest of the SONAR team, of course) our SONAR simulator supports now a real-time mode for testing underwater speech communication. A multitude of "subscribers" can connect to our virtual ocean and send and receive signals. The simulator consists of large (time-variant) convolution engine as well as a realistic noise simulation that ...
