On Thursday, August 15th, we participated in the "Kiel Science Walk" (Wissenschaftssapziergang) that is organized by the city of Kiel. About 20 interested people visited us. First Dr. Frank Paul in his role as the manager of our institution gave a short talk about current facts and the history of our faculty. Afterwards, our real-time time system KiRAT as well as the some (theoretical) basics of our research projects were explained. The main part of this event were then five lab demonstrations that were presented by virutally all of our PhD students. We hope that the "science walkers" enjoyed their visit in our labs.
